This two bedroom Victorian ground floor flat with a huge dark damp basement was calling out to be transformed with light. I worked closely with Declan Fallon from E1WF architecture to double the usable space in the property and create a flexible, light filled interior suitable for modern living and sky gazing. Using a monochrome palette, natural materials, and heritage fixtures and fittings gives it a fresh scandinavian look while retaining its traditional English features.

This new built residential home is a comfortable retreat for its busy owners. It takes inspiration from traditional Bermudian vernacular and makes the most of the indoor-outdoor lifestyle and the stunning grounds in which it is situated.
A luxurious monochrome palette of dark herringbone flooring with crisp white walls punctuated with muted purples and blues add a sophisticated feel to the formal spaces within this home, while lighter tile flooring and pops of unexpected brighter hues bring warmth and fun to the family living, kitchen and library.

For Colonials Bermuda headquarters I began by questioning Colonial about what it is that their customers value most about their face-to-face experience in their Hamilton office. Feelings of openness, transparency and comfort were a recurring theme in my research and became central to the design solution. This has resulted in a bright, open, client facing space that not only provides comfort and functionality but has transformed the way Colonial do business in Bermuda.
Natural materials, considered lighting, together with a curvaceous floor plan creates a sense of depth and layering that provide interesting sight lines throughout the office. The brightly coloured glazing film add pops of colour that help define spaces while keeping the look transparent and open. Generous planting helps the indoor air quality and adds an extra layer of natural texture.

Located in the exclusive Bevercreek resort in Colorado, this property which was built in the 80's was in need of some much needed TLC. I worked closely with my European clients to update the principal rooms and bathrooms into something that has become a home from home as well as a great entertaining space for friends and family.
Using warm palette of muted tones and natural materials, layers of textures and a mix of generous, comfortable and modern furniture the mood can adapt from large numbers to small intimate gatherings with ease.

Hiscox have a strong identity and a clear vision of their global brand, the task was to incorporate this identity into their working environment while addressing the needs of the team and visiting clients. Texture and natural shades of white and grey where used to counterbalance the strong reds of the branding in the public spaces while organic forms and curved lines helped to break up the linear floor plan aiding in route navigation and area delineation.
In this open plan office our concept was to create a clear divide between the public and user spaces while retaining a continuity of design that was fresh, modern and a joy to spend time in for both the visitor and daily user.
